In court today, 20-year-old Jessie Waeger, involved in a serious hit-and-run crash in Greta last week, was granted conditional bail. The crash left a 17-year-old girl with severe injuries.
MHV NEWS has obtained a shocking video of the incident. Waeger, who appeared via video link from custody, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm, negligent driving, and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle. He pleaded not guilty to failing to stop and assist.
Magistrate K. Hockey imposed strict bail conditions, including daily reporting to Singleton Police, a curfew, and restrictions on driving. Waeger’s next court appearance is set for 26 September 2024 at Singleton Local Court.
