Cessnock Woman Wins $100K Jackpot
In a heartwarming turn of events, a Cessnock woman has shared her excitement about spoiling her family with an extravagant feast after winning more than $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries draw. The Hunter Valley local secured the 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10865 on Monday, 5 August 2024, and also picked up a consolation prize, bringing her total winnings to $102,000.
The lucky winner admitted it took her a bit longer to discover her newfound fortune due to outdated contact details.
“I don’t know what to say!” she exclaimed when informed of her prize. “Wow! This is the loveliest surprise after a tough couple of years. I’ve been playing Lucky Lotteries occasionally, buying a handful of tickets here and there. I always told myself that I’d share half of whatever I win with my children.”
In addition to sharing her winnings, the woman plans to treat herself to a new car and a coffee machine. But first on her agenda is gathering her family for a celebratory feast.
“This is so special, thank you!” she added.
The winning ticket, featuring five consecutive numbers, was purchased at Cessnock Plaza News & Gifts, located at Shop 16-17 Cessnock Plaza, 1 Keene Street, Cessnock.
