Emergency Rescue Ongoing After Cessnock Crash
Update: Two people from one vehicle are being transported to Hospital by NSW Ambulance, the extent of injuries is unknown.
Breaking News: Emergency services are currently on the scene of a serious motor vehicle accident in the Cessnock Council area of New South Wales. The incident occurred on Broken Back Road, near the intersection with Polkolbin Mountain Road in Cedar Creek.
Initial reports indicate that person is trapped inside the vehicles involved. Emergency responders, Cessnock VRA, NSW Rural Fire Service and NSW Paramedics are on scene, Cessnock Fire n Rescue were not able to reach the location due to terrain being unaccesable.
The situation is ongoing, and the area has been cordoned off to allow emergency services to carry out their operations safely. Residents and motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
