Wyong Multi-Vehicle Crash – Road Reopened
Sunday, 27 October 2024 | 3:33 PM
The Pacific Motorway in Wyong has reopened after being closed earlier today due to a fatal multi-vehicle crash.
At around 1:30 PM, emergency services responded to reports that a woman had been struck and killed by a car in the northbound lanes. Police have confirmed the woman’s identity is yet to be formally established, but her death is not being treated as suspicious.
Prior to the incident, a collision involving four vehicles—a Mazda CX-5, Honda Odyssey, Hyundai Kona, and a truck—occurred in the southbound lanes. One woman was taken to Gosford Hospital with minor injuries, while the other occupants were treated at the scene for shock.
The motorway has since reopened, and traffic is flowing as normal. A report is being prepared for the Coroner.
