Have Your Say: Submissions Open for Proposed Newcastle Basketball Stadium

The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) submission process is now open for the Newcastle Basketball Association’s proposed Hunter Indoor Sports Centre, formerly known as the Newcastle Basketball Stadium. Community members are encouraged to share their views before submissions close on 11 November 2024.

If you oppose the project, it’s important to submit your objection through the NSW Planning Portal and ensure you select the “I Object to the Project” option. Failing to do so will result in your submission being considered neutral or supportive.

Any project receiving 50 or more objections will be referred to the Independent Planning Commission for further review. For inquiries, you can contact Navdeep Singh Shergill at 8289 6777.
