Man Charged in Port Stephens Drug Supply Investigation

A 28-year-old man is set to appear in court today following his arrest in connection with a commercial drug supply investigation in Port Stephens.
On Wednesday, 14 August 2024, at approximately 11 am, officers from the Hunter Region Enforcement Squad, supported by Port Stephens-Hunter Police District, conducted a search at a property on Wirreanda Road, Medowie. The operation was part of an ongoing probe into drug distribution in the area.
The man was apprehended at the scene and transported to Raymond Terrace Police Station, where he has been charged with 22 offences. These charges include:
- Ten counts of supplying a prohibited drug (greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity)
- Six counts of supplying a prohibited drug (greater than or equal to commercial quantity)
- Three counts of driving a motor vehicle during a disqualification period
- One count of supplying a prohibited drug (greater than small and less than or equal to indictable quantity)
- One count of ongoing drug supply
- One count of dealing with property proceeds of crime
The man has been refused bail and will face Raymond Terrace Local Court today.
Police continue their investigation into the illicit drug supply network in Port Stephens.
