A two-car collision on the New England Highway near Pikes Gully Road in Liddell has closed the highway in both directions. The incident occurred at approximately 12:26 AM today and remains under investigation as of 5:06 AM.
Emergency services, Transport for NSW, and the Crash Investigation Unit are attending the scene.

- Southbound (from Muswellbrook): Sydney Street, Denman Road, and Golden Highway, returning to New England Highway at Whittingham.
- Northbound (from Whittingham): Golden Highway, Denman Road, and Sydney Street, returning to New England Highway at Muswellbrook.
