A 67-year-old man has been hospitalized following a paraglider crash on Newcastle Beach earlier today.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident around 11 a.m., dispatching three ambulances to the scene. Paramedics found the man conscious and breathing, but he had sustained a pelvic fracture during the crash.
After receiving initial treatment on the beach, the injured paraglider was transported to John Hunter Hospital. Authorities have confirmed that he is in a stable condition.
