Three teenagers have been charged following a dramatic police pursuit through Newcastle early this morning.
At around 1:45 AM, officers responded to reports of a break-in at a residence on McIsaac Street, Tighes Hill. Upon arrival, police were informed that the home had allegedly been broken into, and a Mazda 3 was stolen from the property. During the incident, the 47-year-old resident reportedly tried to intervene but was injured when the stolen car reversed over his foot and struck several parked vehicles.
