A dash cam video posted anonymously to the Cessnock Community shows a P-plate driver overtaking on double lines in wet conditions in the Hunter Valley on Wollombi Rd between Cessnock and Millfield . The anonymous poster commented, “To the young person on their green P’s DVV-500, it’s not very smart to overtake on double lines at the best of times, let alone on wet roads. There have been enough fatalities lately. Hopefully, someone who knows you will see this and remind you to think about your own mortality as well as the mortality of others!” The video will be submitted to the police for further investigation.
