Man Charged Over Domestic Violence Offences in Lake Munmorah
A 57-year-old man has been arrested and charged with serious domestic violence offences in the Hunter region.
On Thursday, 29 August 2024, police from the Hunter High Risk Domestic Violence Offender Team, assisted by Lake Macquarie Police District, began searching for the man following reports of domestic violence incidents.
After extensive investigations, the man was apprehended at a service station on the Pacific Highway in Lake Munmorah around 7:25 AM on Thursday, 12 September 2024. He was taken into custody at Wyong Police Station and charged with multiple offences, including breaching an apprehended violence order, stalking, and drug possession.
The man has been refused bail and will appear before Wyong Local Court later today.
