Police have launched an urgent appeal to locate a 15-year-old boy missing from the Lake Macquarie region, with growing concerns for his welfare.
Callum Schonewille was last seen in Charlestown about 1pm on Monday, 29 December 2025. When he failed to return home and could not be contacted, family members raised the alarm, prompting Lake Macquarie Police to begin urgent inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police say both officers and Callum’s family are increasingly concerned for his safety as the search continues.
The teenager is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 160cm tall, with a slim build and short light brown hair. He was last seen wearing a grey shirt and brown pants.
Callum is known to frequent several areas across the Hunter and Lake Macquarie regions, including Hamilton South, Windale, Belmont North, Charlestown and Telarah.
