A man has died after crashing into a tree
A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the Hunter this morning. Shortly before 8.30am (Tuesday 5 October 2021), emergency services were called to George Booth Drive at Buchanan, following reports a vehicle had left the road and hit a tree. Upon arrival, police located the body of the driver – a man believed to be aged in his 40s – however, he is yet to be formally identified. Officers from Hunter Valley Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
