A woman and two children have died in a crash on the state’s Central Coast overnight. Shortly before 10pm (Tuesday 21 September 2021), a vehicle – being driven by a woman with five children on board – was travelling on Wisemans Ferry Road, Central Mangrove. As the vehicle approached Nurses Road it’s left the roadway and crashed down an embankment. The woman and two children – aged 2 and 8 – died at the scene. A further three children were treated at the scene before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital where they remain in stable conditions.
