Veteran broadcaster Jane Goldsmith will deliver her final NBN News bulletin tonight, bringing an end to a 25-year career covering stories across the Hunter region.

Goldsmith said she is grateful to have worked alongside an “outstanding team” both past and present, helping bring local stories to viewers across the region.

She paid tribute to her colleagues and friends, noting they will continue delivering the news that matters to the community, and encouraged viewers to keep supporting the newsroom.

Reflecting on her career, she said she has “loved every minute” of her 25 years working both on the road and in the newsroom across the Hunter.

Her final bulletin will air tonight at 6pm.
