BHP have announced from the 1 March 2023 that they will drop all Covid-19 vaccine mandates for all employees and visitors to BHP site.
We have taken into account all feedback received during the consultation
period. After careful consideration of the COVID-19 risk profile, the information received through consultation, and the scientific medical and safety data, our Australian workplaces will de-escalate the SAR from 1 March 2023.This means that from 1 March 2023 all employees, contractors and visitors will no longer need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter our Australian workplaces.
The mandate was brought in during the pandemic and BHP forced employees to get jab or lose your job.
