Emergency services are currently on the scene of a serious motor vehicle accident with reports of a person trapped on the New England Highway at Allandale, near Maitland.
The incident was reported at approximately 11:21 AM today, with Fire and Rescue, NSW Ambulance, and police racing to the scene. Early reports indicate that at least one person is trapped in the wreckage.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect significant delays as emergency crews work to free the occupant and clear the scene.
