BREAKING: Man Rushed to Hospital After Broad-Daylight Stabbing at Carrington Hotel
A man has been rushed to hospital after a stabbing at a Carrington hotel late this morning.
Emergency services were called to a hotel on Young Street just before 11am following reports a man had been stabbed.
Paramedics treated a man in his 20s at the scene for a laceration to his arm before he was taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
A heavy police presence quickly flooded the area, with officers establishing a crime scene at the hotel.
Police arrested a 22-year-old woman, who they say is known to the man. She has been taken to Newcastle Police Station as investigations continue.
The incident remains under investigation.
