Great news for residents of the Cessnock City Council LGA, as a new 22-space car park has been completed at Bridges Hill Park. The project, which took four months to complete, promises to improve access to this much-loved local gem.
Councillor James Hawkins and Mayor Jay Suvaal of the Cessnock City Council have expressed their satisfaction with the completion of the project, and they anticipate locals and their furry friends enjoying the new facility.
The new car park is a part of the ongoing Cessnock CBD to Bridges Hill Park Shared Pathways project, which is expected to be completed in the near future. This is part of the Council’s effort to make the city more accessible and convenient for all residents.
This latest development adds to the recent completion of the expanded playground with a sky tower in 2021, as well as the upcoming improvement to the Bridges Hill Skate Park. To stay up-to-date with Council’s ongoing works, visit their website at https://www.cessnock.nsw.gov.au/Works.
