Cessnock Council is seeking feedback from the community on a draft policy that could see dogs labeled as dangerous have their status revoked.

MAN HUNT: POLICE HUNTING THREE MEN AFTER SERIOUS ASSAULT
Owners of dangerous dogs could apply to have dangerous status revoked 12 months after they been deemed dangerous and if they have a current Temperament Assessment provided by a qualified Animal Behaviorist.
An adjudication panel would then assess the application and make a recommendation to Council’s Authorised officers for final determination.
