CASES SURGE IN THE HUNTER TO 18 NEW CASES OVERNIGHT

HNE Health has been advised of 18 new cases of Covid over night with over 500 close contacts in isolation. 9 cases in Hospital none are in ICU.

The 18 new cases take the total number in the current outbreak to 310. There are currently 161 active cases.

HNE Health says there in no longer a public health benefit to break these down for each individual case and suburb after today.
