Around 9.30am on Friday 22 May, emergency services responded to reports of a child struck by a vehicle at Terrigal on the Central Coast.
A Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance, with paramedics treating the child at the scene alongside the helicopter’s critical care medical team.
The child sustained facial and other injuries before being airlifted to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead for further treatment.
