The Branxton and Hunter community is in mourning following the tragic death of 24-year-old Blaire Baker, a beloved RFS volunteer remembered as a local hero.
Blaire was one of the first on the scene of the Greta bus crash and had bravely served through some of the region’s toughest moments—from devastating bushfires to damaging floods. Known for his selflessness, courage, and kindness, Blaire leaves behind a lasting legacy of service and compassion.
In hponour of his memory, Blaire’s family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of a farewell that reflects the love and respect the community holds for him.
