Newcastle University has yet again been struck with Covid-19 after a person attended the University whilst infectious between the 18th-21st of October.
The University of Newcastle, has advised that the Bar on the Hill and the Richardson Wing teaching space on their Callaghan campus were attended by a person between 18-21 October who subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.
The university’s daily cleaning regime has ensured that all impacted venues on campus have been regularly and thoroughly cleaned and pose no risk of COVID-19 transmission. Directly impacted staff and students have been advised about their potential exposure and provided with further advice.
