In a bold move to support mental health initiatives, Dan Repacholli, Member for Hunter, made headlines by shedding his inhibitions – and his shirt
Returning from an overseas trip, Repacholli participated in a daring ice bucket challenge at MorningStar Tattoo in Bellbird. The event, organized by the charity Talk2ToMeBro, aimed to raise funds and awareness for mental health causes.
Initially committing to a two-minute ice bath, Repacholli upped the ante by pledging an additional $300 if participants endured another two minutes.
Taking to social media, Repacholli reassured his followers: “Remain calm, it’s just a little bit of skin.”
His gesture received widespread support, with local businesses like Ink&Tint Brow Artistry, Empire of Hair & Beauty Cessnock, and The Fox Hat Espresso Bar rallying behind the cause.
