In March 2026, officers attached to Hunter Region Enforcement Squad established Strike Force Norlita and commenced an investigation into commercial drug supply offences in the Mayfield area. Just after 12.40pm yesterday (Tuesday 31 March 2026), police were on Hanbury Street, Mayfield, when they located a man acting suspiciously.
