At around 12:30 pm on Tuesday, August 20, emergency services were called to a serious incident in Wyong, where a man in his 70s was reportedly trapped under a car. Responding to the situation, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched by NSW Ambulance, along with paramedics, to provide urgent assistance. Upon arrival, the man was found to have sustained multiple injuries.
NSW Ambulance paramedics, together with the helicopter’s critical care medical team, quickly began providing on-site medical treatment. The critical care team stabilized the man, addressing his injuries with advanced medical interventions. Once stabilized, the patient was carefully prepared for air transport and flown to John Hunter Hospital for further emergency care.
