Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to locate a woman missing from Newcastle’s inner suburbs, with concerns growing for her welfare.

Tamarah Wood, 34, was last seen at a train station on Beaumont Street, Hamilton, at about 11.20am on Monday 29 June 2026.

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family are concerned for her safety.

Tamarah is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, slim build, with shoulder-length light brown hair and brown eyes.

She is known to use public transport and frequent the Eastern Suburbs and Newcastle areas.
