Emergency services are responding to a significant fire at Erina High School on the NSW Central Coast this afternoon.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews were initially called following reports of smoke issuing from a building on the school grounds. The incident has since been upgraded to a second alarm, with additional firefighting crews dispatched to assist.
Fire and Rescue NSW has confirmed that the second level of a building is now well alight, with crews currently staging operations from the school’s car park.
The NSW Rural Fire Service is also on scene supporting firefighting efforts.
Motorists and members of the public are being urged to avoid the area while emergency operations continue.
There are no reports of injuries at this stage. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
