Detectives attached to Brisbane Water Police District have charged three men and executed five search warrants as part of an ongoing operation targeting child abuse material offences across the Central Coast.

Police said that between Friday 12 June and Friday 19 June 2026, detectives carried out a series of search warrants at properties across the district as part of ongoing investigations.

On Friday 12 June, officers executed a search warrant at a home in Ettalong Beach, where a 30-year-old man was arrested. He was taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with several offences, including procuring a child under the age of 14 for unlawful sexual activity, producing child abuse material and using a carriage service to facilitate alleged offences.

The man was refused bail and is due to reappear before court on 14 August 2026.

On Monday 15 June, police executed a search warrant at a Narara property. During the search, officers allegedly located a large quantity of child abuse material on electronic devices seized for forensic examination.

A 54-year-old man was arrested and charged with possessing child abuse material. He was refused bail and appeared before Bail Division Court 6. Investigations into the matter remain ongoing.

On Friday 19 June, detectives conducted a further search warrant at a Woy Woy address. Following the examination of items seized, a 52-year-old man was arrested and charged with possessing child abuse material.

He was also refused bail and appeared before Bail Division Court 6.

Police said two additional search warrants were executed during the week, with investigations continuing after electronic devices and other items were seized for forensic examination.
