A young girl has been airlifted to hospital following a scooter accident at Seal Rocks on the Mid North Coast on Saturday night.

Around 9pm on 6 June, a Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance after reports the girl had fallen from a scooter.

She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team for head injuries before being flown to John Hunter Hospital.

The incident is not believed to be suspicious.
