A young man has been injured in an accident involving a forklift at Gosford this morning.

The CareFlight rescue helicopter has been tasked to the scene and is expected to arrive shortly. The helicopter will land at the rugby oval next to the Gosford Showground, where the medical team will meet with NSW Ambulance paramedics treating the patient.

The extent of the man’s injuries is not yet known. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
