The BOM has issues a servere Thunderstorm warning for the Hunter and Mid North coast likely to bring heavry rain causing flash flooding across parts of the Hunter.
The SES has said people should stay away from creeks, storm drains and dams and contact emergency services if you find your self in trouble.
