A house has been completely destroyed after a fierce fire tore through a property on the Central Coast at Buff Point in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called at 1:46am on Monday, 19 January, after reports a home was well alight. Fire crews from Pumper and Tanker 245 arrived to find the house fully engulfed in flames, prompting an urgent defensive attack to stop the blaze spreading to neighbouring homes.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus worked aggressively to contain the fire, supported by crews from 292, 470, 434, and 351’s aerial appliance. The combined effort successfully brought the fire under control and extinguished it.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are expected to follow.
