Volunteers from NSW RFS Benwerrin Brigade are dealing with another setback after the station was allegedly broken into for the second time this year.

According to the brigade, the station was ransacked and equipment was stolen, including items removed from one of the brigade’s fire trucks, impacting its operational capability.

As a result of the incident, the Benwerrin Brigade was temporarily taken offline while volunteers assessed what had been stolen, cleaned up the station and reset equipment.
