Authorities continue efforts today to recover the body of a man who tragically fell into a decommissioned mine shaft in the Hunter Valley.
Emergency services were called to Dry Creek Road, Ellalong, around 12:45 PM yesterday (Tuesday, 17 September), following reports of a workplace accident. Initial information suggests the man, believed to be in his late 50s, fell while on the job.
