An investigation is underway after two Pilates studios on the Central Coast were damaged in suspicious fires early this morning.
About 4.30am on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, emergency services were called to a business on The Entrance Road at Erina following reports of a fire at a Pilates studio. Fire and Rescue NSW crews extinguished the blaze, however the studio sustained significant damage. No injuries were reported.
Police from the Brisbane Water Police District established a crime scene and began inquiries into the incident.
Less than an hour later, about 5.15am, emergency services were again called, this time to a Pilates studio on Enterprise Drive at Berkeley Vale, after reports of a second fire. Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished that blaze as well, with the studio also suffering significant damage. No injuries were reported.
Officers from the Tuggerah Lakes Police District established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the second incident.
A short time later, emergency services were called to Cobbs Road at Mardi, where a burnt-out sedan was located.
Police are treating all three incidents as suspicious, with initial inquiries suggesting they are linked.
The investigation is being assisted by the State Crime Command’s Financial Crimes Squad Arson Unit.
