Maitland Council has decided to increase the reward for valuable information that can help in the apprehension of those responsible for vandalizing Council property.
REWARD DOUBLED 💰 ✖️ 2️⃣
During the recent council meeting, all the Councillors unanimously supported the update of our Vandalism Policy. This update entails a significant increase in the reward offered for information and evidence that leads to the conviction of individuals involved in vandalizing council property.
By adopting this revised policy, the Council aims to foster greater community involvement in identifying and prosecuting vandalism offenses. The ultimate goal is to effectively reduce the incidents of vandalism within the Maitland Local Government Area.
The reward amount has now been doubled, increasing from the previous maximum of $3000 to an enhanced reward of up to $6000.
