A man and woman have both been refused bail following multiple incidents at the Riverside Park business district in West Gosford on Monday.
Police from Brisbane Water Police District were first called to the area about 3pm on Monday 18 May 2026 following reports of a fight involving a man and woman.
Officers located a 49-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman together at the scene. Police arrested the man, who was known to officers, while the woman allegedly fled from police.
The man was taken to Gosford Police Station where he was charged with contravening a prohibition or restriction in an AVO (Domestic) and breach of bail offences.
He was refused bail and appeared before Bail Division Court 6 on Tuesday 19 May 2026.
Police were again called to the Riverside Park business district about 6pm following reports of stealing and assault incidents.
Officers later located the 35-year-old woman, who was arrested and taken to Gosford Police Station.
She was charged with destroy or damage property, two counts of common assault, and shoplifting.
The woman was also refused bail and appeared before Bail Division Court 6 on Tuesday 19 May 2026.
