A man has died and another is critically injured following a workplace incident in Sydney’s northwest this morning.
Emergency services were called to a site on Pennant Hills Road, Carlingford, just after 9am today (Tuesday, 5 August), after reports of a serious incident.
Police from The Hills Police Area Command arrived to find two men with critical injuries. NSW Ambulance paramedics treated both men at the scene before transporting them to hospital.
A 40-year-old man was taken to Westmead Hospital but later died from his injuries. A 30-year-old man remains in a critical condition at Royal North Shore Hospital.
A crime scene was established and investigations are underway. The incident has been referred to SafeWork NSW, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
