Pokolbin, Cessnock LGA – Firefighters are battling a raging structure fire at Tower Lodge Resort this morning. The blaze was reported just before 7am, with first responders confirming the building was “well alight” upon arrival.
Crews from the RFS and Fire and Rescue NSW now have the upper hand, working to contain the flames that are believed to have started in the kitchen and spread into the roof space.
Guests have safely evacuated the on-site accommodation, and nearby buildings are reportedly safe.
