A man in his 20s has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a motor vehicle crash involving a mini bus and a car at Coolongolook, north of Bulahdelah.
About 5.30pm on Monday, 22 December, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to the scene after reports of a serious collision.
NSW Ambulance paramedics, assisted by the helicopter’s critical care medical team, treated the man at the scene for multiple serious injuries before he was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital for further treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
