Yesterday afternoon NSW Ambulance and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter responded to a property in Maitland after receiving calls for a seriously injured motorcycle rider.
Local Paramedics and Emergency Services attended and commenced treatment prior to arrival of the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team.
The male was treated for serious back and shoulder injures before being stabilised and flown to John Hunter Hospital.
