Motor Vehicle Crash in Wallsend: Driver Escapes with Minor Injuries

At approximately 10:45 AM on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Fire and Rescue NSW Station 484 Wallsend responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on Bulkara Street, Wallsend. On arrival, crews found a Toyota 4×4 on its side. The driver had managed to extract himself from the vehicle before emergency services arrived. No other vehicles were involved, with the crash attributed to driver error in wet conditions. The driver sustained minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
