MOTORBIKE RIDER IS IN HOSPITAL UNDER POLICE GUARD FOLLOWING A CRASH IN CESSNOCK

A motorbike rider is in hospital under police guard following a crash this afternoon in Cessnock, it’s alleged the motorcycle collided with a car. Emergency services were called to the intersection of King and Cooper Streets shortly after 3pm when the motorcycle and a car collided. The rider of the bike fled the scene on foot, but was located on Cumberland Street a short time later. Police are expected to lay charges when the rider is released from hospital. This incident followed the death of teenage motorbike rider yesterday in Cardiff....
