In a recent incident at Morisset, investigators are seeking public assistance after a motorcycle dealer was targeted by thieves who stole multiple motorbikes and riding equipment. The incident occurred between 1:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Monday, May 8, 2023.
According to reports, two individuals forcibly entered the store located on Alliance Avenue by breaking through a wall. The stolen items include five Yamaha motorbikes along with essential riding gear such as helmets, gloves, goggles, and kitbags. Afterward, the culprits fled the scene in a grey utility vehicle.
Upon receiving the information, authorities from Lake Macquarie Police District promptly responded to the incident. They have initiated a thorough investigation to apprehend those responsible.
To aid their ongoing inquiries, investigators have released CCTV images capturing the two individuals and the grey utility vehicle in the vicinity during the specified timeframe. Police strongly believe that these individuals, as well as the driver of the vehicle, can provide crucial information to assist with the investigation.
