Cessnock Council has announced plans to carry out essential patching works on Wollombi Road, specifically between Darwin Street and Mount View Road. The repair activities are set to commence on the night of Thursday, October 19, 2023, starting from 10 pm and concluding by 4 am.
To ensure the safety of commuters, temporary traffic adjustments, including detours, lane closures, and the implementation of a 40km/h speed limit, will be in effect during the work hours. Travelers are advised to adhere to the prescribed speed limits and to follow the guidance of traffic controllers and road signs to minimize disruptions during the repair period.
