Nine Alleged Finks OMCG Members Charged After Major Hunter Region Police Operation
NSW Police have charged nine alleged members and associates of the Finks Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) following a sweeping Raptor Squad operation targeting drug supply, firearms, affray and sexual touching offences across the Hunter region.
The arrests follow two violent incidents at licensed venues earlier this month.
Incidents at Merewether and Shoal Bay
On Saturday 1 November 2025, a 25-year-old woman was allegedly sexually touched multiple times by an unknown man at a Merewether venue. That same night, three men were allegedly involved in a violent affray, with one man reportedly arming himself with a cutlery knife and threatening a patron.
A week later, on Saturday 8 November, police launched investigations into an alleged brawl at a Shoal Bay hotel, where a group of men allegedly attacked patrons standing outside the venue. Police say those involved in the sexual touching and affrays were later identified as Finks OMCG members and associates.
Raptor Squad Dawn Raids
From 6am on Wednesday 19 November, officers from State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad North — supported by local police — executed seven warrants across Lake Macquarie, Cessnock and Maitland. The coordinated raids resulted in nine arrests and the seizure of multiple weapons, including a shotgun, a gel blaster, prohibited firearms and several prohibited weapons such as knuckle dusters and a ballistic dart gun.
