One Nation says its “Fire the Liar” fundraising campaign has surpassed $500,000 in grassroots donations as it works towards a $1 million target.
Party leader Pauline Hanson announced the milestone on Wednesday, saying the campaign had passed the half-million-dollar mark by lunchtime.
“As of lunchtime today, One Nation’s ‘Fire the Liar’ campaign has burst past $500,000 in grassroots donations from Australians on its way to the $1 million target,” Senator Hanson said.
The campaign is aimed at raising funds for political advertising and campaigning efforts ahead of future elections.
One Nation has set a goal of raising $1 million before the end of the month.
