
Outrage as Advertiser leaves town. 94.4% of people polled said they should stay
The Cessnock Advertiser is moving their office to Maitland in a bid to reduce costs, but it’s going to be harder to remain relevant in the local area and will mean that their staff will have to work longer hours and travel more to get the stories that matter. Local residents are outraged that local jobs are once again leaving town, and yet again another empty shop on the struggling Vincent street.
